The Galaxy S25 series was Samsung's big step toward a true AI companion, built to understand what you mean and act on it with less tapping and fewer app switches. Multimodal AI agents can interpret text, speech, images, and video, while a long press of the side button wakes Gemini to handle cross app tasks, like finding your team's schedule and adding it to your calendar in a single command. Circle to Search now recognizes phone numbers, emails, and URLs on your screen so you can act with one tap, natural language search lets you simply ask for "wedding photos in Turkana" in your Gallery, and Now Brief proactively guides your day with personalized suggestions on the lock screen. All of this personalization runs through the Personal Data Engine, which analyzes your data safely on device and keeps it locked away in Knox Vault, with post-quantum cryptography guarding against future threats.

Under the hood, the customized Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is the most powerful chip ever in a Galaxy S series, boosting NPU performance by 40 percent, CPU by 37 percent, and GPU by 30 percent, so more AI runs directly on the phone and gaming gets smoother ray traced graphics, all kept cool by a vapor chamber that is 40 percent larger. Creators get a genuinely pro toolkit: the Ultra upgrades to a 50MP ultrawide camera, 10-bit HDR recording delivers four times richer color by default, low light video is sharper than ever, Audio Eraser removes unwanted sounds like wind and crowd noise, Virtual Aperture in Expert RAW brings DSLR style depth of field control, and Galaxy Log enables precise cinematic color grading. The Ultra itself is the slimmest, lightest, and most durable S series yet, with a comfortable rounded edge and recycled materials throughout, starting at 256GB with a 5,000 mAh battery and 45W charging that reaches 65 percent in about 30 minutes.
