The Galaxy A56 5G is the stylish standout of Samsung's first Awesome Intelligence powered A series, pairing a polished metal frame with a milky matte finish in Awesome Pink, Awesome Olive, Awesome Lightgray, and Awesome Graphite, a slim flat profile at just 7.4 mm and 15 grams lighter than before, and a clean vertically aligned triple camera layout with black rings. Its larger 6.7 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display now shines 200 nits brighter at a 1,200 nit peak, so everything from videos to games looks vivid and immersive, and the comfortable grip makes it easy to hold all day. It's also smarter than any A series phone before it: Circle to Search lets you circle anything on screen for instant Google results and can even identify music playing in a video, even if you only hum it.

The camera is built to keep up with real life. Enhanced Nightography on the 12MP front camera captures clear, vibrant selfies even on nighttime walks, Object Eraser traces away unwanted background distractions for clean shots, the Filters feature lets you build custom camera filters from saved images to nail that signature look, and Best Face analyzes Motion Photo frames to rescue group selfies where someone blinked or pulled an awkward face, letting you pick the frame where everyone looks their best. Security and longevity are equally impressive, with One UI 7 making it the first in the series to feature hardware backed Knox Vault that isolates your PINs and passwords, an enhanced Auto Blocker that blocks unauthorized app installs, Theft Protection that safeguards your data if your phone goes missing, and Samsung's promise of six years of security updates plus up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades.
