HMD Crest Highlights
The HMD Crest is a budget friendly Android 14 phone, priced starting at KSh 23,500. It features a Full HD+ OLED display, measuring 6.67 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. This makes the screen sharp and clear, great for watching videos or browsing the web.
One of the highlights is its 50MP selfie camera, which includes gesture controls. This means you can take photos with hand movements, making it convenient for group shots or selfies. The camera quality is impressive for a phone in this price range.
The HMD Crest also comes with IP52 dust and splash resistance. While it's not fully waterproof, it can handle light splashes and dust, making it more durable in harsh environments. Additionally, the phone is designed for easy DIY repair, which can save on repair costs over time.
For audio, the HMD Crest features OZO audio technology, enhancing sound quality for a better listening experience. The phone also supports 33W fast charging, reducing the time needed to charge the battery.
In terms of updates, HMD promises up to 2 years of quarterly security updates. This ensures that the phone stays secure and up to date, although it might not receive the latest features as quickly as some other models.
