Vivo Y37 Pro Highlights
The Vivo Y37 Pro, launched in August 2024, is a mid range smartphone offering some flagship-level features for its price point, starting from KSh 32,700. Its 50MP dual main camera delivers decent photos, especially in well lit conditions. The secondary 2MP depth sensor, helps add a bit of depth to portrait shots. The camera also comes with useful modes like Panorama, Night, and Portrait, along with an LED flash for low light environments.
The phone’s 6.5 inch 120Hz IPS display is bright and responsive, with up to 1000 nits peak brightness. This ensures good visibility outdoors, even under direct sunlight. The fast 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling smooth, which is handy for everyday use.
With a 6000mAh battery, the Vivo Y37 Pro promises excellent battery life, easily lasting a full day of heavy use. Its 44W fast charging can get you up to 50% in just 36 minutes, and it also supports reverse charging, which is a nice bonus for powering other devices.
The build quality includes IP64 dust and splash resistance, which gives some peace of mind against minor spills and dust. Additionally, features like dual stereo speakers and a unique notification LED round light provides convenience to daily use.
The Vivo Y37 Pro strikes a good balance between performance, battery life, and camera quality for its price range. However, some may find the secondary camera underwhelming. Still, it remains a solid choice for most users.
