Oppo A3x, 4GB/64GB - Out Of Stock @Price in Kenya

The Oppo A3x, released in August 2024, delivers solid features at an affordable price of KSh 15,500. Designed for durability, it’s a great choice for users seeking a rugged smartphone.

Durability and Design

The standout feature of the Oppo A3x is its military-grade shock and drop resistance (MIL-STD-810H), offering extra protection from accidental falls. It also has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, so it can withstand light rain or dusty conditions. The wet touch-responsive display ensures it remains functional even in wet environments.

Display

The device features a 6.67 inch IPS screen with a 720 x 1604 pixel resolution, giving a pixel density of 264 ppi. While the resolution is modest, the 90Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness make the display feel smooth and usable, even outdoors. However, users might notice the lower resolution compared to more expensive options.

Performance

Powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor, the Oppo A3x handles social media, streaming, and light gaming well. While it isn’t suited for demanding multitasking or heavy gaming, it performs efficiently for everyday tasks. Dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0 ensure easy connectivity with other devices.

Battery and Charging

The 5100mAh battery is sufficient for a full day of moderate usage, and the 45W fast charging feature gets the battery to 50% in just 30 minutes, making it convenient for users in a rush.

The Oppo A3x offers excellent durability, decent performance, and fast charging, making it a strong option under KSh 20,000. However, users who prioritize display quality might find the HD+ resolution limiting.
