Infinix Hot 50 4G, 6GB/128GB - Upcoming @Price in Kenya

The Infinix Hot 50 4G, unveiled in September 2024, offers a good deal in the budget segment for users who value display clarity and battery life. It also features the latest Android operating system and is housed in a modern design, all priced from KSh 23,500.

Display and Design

The phone sports a large 6.78 inch FHD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This means smoother scrolling and a better viewing experience. The 800 nits brightness ensures visibility in bright outdoor conditions, while the wet-touch responsiveness allows for use even with wet hands. The always-on display feature is also handy for quickly checking the time and notifications.

Camera Performance

The Infinix Hot 50 comes with a 50MP triple main camera, capable of capturing good photos in well-lit conditions. Video recording options include 2K at 30fps and Full HD at 60/30fps, providing decent video quality for casual users. While it may not compete with costlier devices, the camera setup is respectable for this price range.

Battery Life and Charging

The 5000mAh battery ensures all day usage on a single charge, making it great for those who need a reliable phone throughout the day. The 18W fast charging and reverse wired charging features provide convenience, while bypass charging protects the battery during extended gaming or streaming sessions.

Software and Features

Running on Android 14 with Infinix’s XOS 14.5 skin, the phone offers the latest software with a range of customization options. The splash resistant design provides a layer of protection, making it suitable for everyday use in less than ideal weather conditions.

The Infinix Hot 50 4G delivers good value for its price. With a sharp, smooth display, strong battery, and decent camera performance, it's a good option for users looking for an entry level smartphone with modern features.
